With reference to the news item appearing in a leading financial daily dated Nov. 13, 2009 titled `Star Aviation likely to sell airlines biz to Sun`, Sun TV Network, a television broadcasting company has clarified that it has no such intention or interest or is in discussion in acquiring stake in Star Aviation.
There were media reports that the billionaire media baron from the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu, Kalanithi Maran, may be close to acquiring Star Aviation for over Rs 10 billion.
