New Delhi: Air India will operate around 36 additional flights to cater to the heavy rush of passengers to popular holiday destinations expected during this winter.
"..The airline would operate 36 additional flights to Goa, Port Blair and Northeast from Delhi, Chennai and Kolkata between December 23 to January 10," an Air India official said.
The national carrier would be operating a total of 19 additional flights from Chennai to Port Blair between December 23 and January 10, 2010. Also, it will operate an extra flight on the Kolkata-Port Blair-Kolkata sector on two days -- December 24 and 29 -- to meet the heavy rush of passengers.
