Dense fog engulfs Delhi, 22 flights delayed

Dense fog engulfed the capital Wednesday resulting in delays to over 20 flights. Visibility was reduced to less than 100 metres.
'Twenty two flights to and from Delhi have been delayed due to the reduced visibility,' an airport official said.
The dense fog in Delhi was a result of 'no wind', said a weather official.
'There is no wind, otherwise there is no unusual phenomenon,' an India Meteorological Department official said. The weatherman added that the fog blanket is unlikely to lift completely by noon.
