If I am found guilty, I will leave football: Arindam

The infamous Spicejet incident has already done serious damage to the image of the involved players — Odafe Okolie, Kalu Nnanna and Arindam Bhattacharya.
Although the truth is yet to come out, reports in the media unanimously seem to say that Kalu and Arindam have unnecessarily made scapegoats.
Speaking exclusively to Mumbai Mirror, goalkeeper Arindam Bhattacharya was furious over the incidents that happened in the last 48 hours.
“We were never part of the real action but we were unnecessarily dragged into it. We were just defending Odafe, who mistakenly touched the air-hostess. She made a big fuss about it and named us among the culprits,” said Bhattacharya, who’s heroics helped India U-23 win the SAFF Cup recently.
The custodian also said that he would hang up his boots if he is found guilty. “If I am found guilty I will leave football forever,” said the 20-year-old.
The lanky goalkeeper was relieved that his family showed confidence during the crisis situation.
