Etihad Crystal Cargo participates in Air Cargo India

Etihad Crystal Cargo, a division of Abu Dhabi-based Etihad Airways will showcase its expanding services and latest developments at this year’s Air Cargo Exhibition in Mumbai, which runs from 2 until 4 February.
Des Vertannes, executive vice president of Etihad Crystal Cargo, said: “Since we launched our cargo operation in November 2004, we have continuously expanded our market share at the same time as we have developed an excellent reputation for the transparency of our information, connectivity and customer service.
“In 2009, Etihad Crystal Cargo moved almost 218,000 tons of cargo, representing growth of 12 per cent over 2008.
We plan to further boost shipments to key air cargo markets in Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East in 2010, as well taking delivery of our first A330 freighter aircraft in the second half of the year, which will increase Etihad’s cargo tonnage by 24%.”
