India Aviation 2010 to begin on March 03

India Aviation 2010, the second International Exhibition and Conference on Civil Aviation is being jointly organised by the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) in Hyderabad from 3 to 7 March, 2010. It is expected to provide aviation and allied industrialists to interpret exposition of their product/ services into business. The Exhibition is also expected to demonstrate and education the public at large on latest aero-space technology available globally.
While France is the partner country and USA the focus country, there will be country pavilions from Canada, Czech Republic, Germany, Russia and the Netherlands. Around 200 companies have confirmed their participation in the Air Show. There will be 115 companies from overseas and the rest from India. The first time, the AN 148 aircraft will be on display in India. It’s from Antonov UAC- Russia. For static and flying display, there will be over 40 aircrafts against 35 that were there in India Aviation 2008. Over 18 hospitality chalets have been taken by various companies from India and overseas to have meetings with their prospective customers in a typical airshow atmosphere. Besides this, there will national and international speakers at the Conference alongwith inputs from all stakeholders.
Exhibition Highlights:
· Participation of around 200 companies from civil aviation sector.
· Partner Country – France, participated by SMEs of around 12 companies (first time in India) other than the big companies like Airbus, Eurocopter, Thales, CFM, Safran.
· Focus Country – USA, participated by SMEs of around 11 companies ( first time in India) other than the big companies like Boeing, BELL Textron, GE aviation, Gulfstream, UTC, Hawker beechcraft, Oshkosh etc.
· Host State – Andhra Pradesh.
· Country Pavilions – Canada, Czech Republic(first time), Germany, Russia(first time) and The Netherlands (first time).
· 40 different types of Aircraft on display.
· Display of ‘AN-148’ passenger Aircraft from Antanov / UAC – Russia for the first time in India.
· Static & Customer Demonstration Flights from the companies like: Airbus, Bell Helicopter, Boeing, Bombardier, Cessna Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, Gulfstream Aerospace, Hawker Beech Craft, UAC etc.
· Airlines participation – Air India, Kingfisher, Jet Airways, Indigo, Spicejet, Paramount and Qatar Airways etc.
· Airport Infra-structure Companies – Airports Authority of India, GMR, GVK, Bangaluru International Airport, Super Airports, Selex(Italy) Smiths Detection etc.
· Hospitality Chalets from the Major Players of the Airlines, Aircraft Manufacturers and Airport Infrastructure Companies total 18 nos.
· Increase of around 20% in the area from around 10000sq.mtrs to around 12000 sq.mtrs.
· Increase of around 18% companies from the last event.
· Around 115 International companies and around 75 domestic companies.
