SpiceJet wins International award for Best Website

New Delhi: Spicejet.com has won the Best Website Award at the recently concluded 'World Low CostAirlines Asia Pacific Conference' at Singapore. The award was given by Dale Lawrence, Director - Corporate Communications, Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) on January 28, 2010 in Singapore. On behalf of SpiceJet, it was received by Chief Commercial Officer, Samyukth Sridharan and Chief Technology Officer, Virender Pal.
SpiceJet won this award for its user friendly interface, relevant local content and for a transparent display of price. This enabled consumers to make an informed choice with ease. The other airlines nominated in this category included AirAsia, Jetstar and Air India Express.
This year spicejet.com has shown a 30% increase in bookings vs same period last year.
The World Low Cost Airlines Asia Pacific awards have been created to recognize the leaders, innovators, creative talents and pioneers in the Asia Pacific's Low Cost Airlines industry.
