Jet tops passenger complaint, flights cancellation lists

Mumbai: The highest number of passenger complaints were lodged against Jet Airways in April, followed by the south-based Paramount Airways.
Jet also earned the dubious distinction of becoming the airline with the highest cancellation rate in that month.
Surprisingly, state-owned Air India received the least number of complaints, compared to its peers, in April.
While both Jet Airways and its wholly-owned subsidiary, JetLite, received 7.6 and 5.4 complaints per 10,000 passengers respectively, Air India received just 0.6 complaints in April, according to data released by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
Both JetLite and Jet Airways also had the highest flight cancellation rate at 10.4 and 3.4 per cent respectively, during the same period.
