Mangalore: Union Minister of State for Railways who was deputed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to oversee provision of compensation for the victims of Air India Express IX-812 today said there was no proposal before the centre or the district administration for setting up a memorial of the 22/5 plane victims.
He said the process of giving interim compensation would resume once again for two days from tomorrow. He said the district administration and Air India had been directed to issue death certificates of the all the crash victims.
