Ahmedabad: The recent GoAir airline bird-hit incident has prompted Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) to crack the whip on fish vendors at Asarwa's Holi Chakla area, believed to be the main cause of scavenger bird population hovering near the airport.
Fish vendors who generally squat up to civil hospital police booth cross-roads have been relocated by encroachment wing of AMC to space below Chamunda Bridge.
