New Delhi: Government proposes to review the existing tariffs for air navigation services across India and determine them on the basis of an approach that would help the service provider recover its costs.
Broad guidelines on determination of tariffs for navigation services have been drafted and these guidelines would be finalised in consultation with all stakeholders, particularly the airlines, by next month, official sources said.
The services and facilities provided by AAI for which it charges the airlines include route navigation, landing, parking, housing, night parking and checking of registered baggage and cargo.
