Ludhiana: The facilities in the Ludhiana airport will be be augmented soon after the local administration hands over the required land to the Airports Authority of India.
In a recent meeting, Union Minister for Civil Aviation Praful Patel told local MP and national spokesperson of the All India Congress Committee Manish Tewari of the same.
Tewari said in a statement here on Saturday that once the land is acquired, the runaway will be inaugurated.
Besides, the DVRO facility would also be installed at the airport to improve visibility. This can help planes land in low visibility. The Ludhiana MP reiterated his commitment to building a world-class airport in Ludhiana.
