New Delhi: Celebi, the Independent Ground Handling Company in Turkey at 27 airports, which has expanded globally transferring its logo and know-how to the International aviation ground handling era, commenced the provision of ground handling services to Austrian Airlines from today, October 1, 2010, onwards.
The ground handling agreement between Celebi and Austrian Airlines is a significant development for the company as gradually and steadily it gains momentum in the ground handling market at Delhi Airport.
Celebi started offering ground handling services in addition to the cargo warehousing services in Delhi Indira Gandhi International Airport on June 2, 2010 and in the span of just four months Celebi Ground Handling Delhi, is rapidly establishing a client base which comprises of airlines targeting to the provision of a high level quality and meeting the end customers’ oriented expectations. Celebi currently provides ground handling services to Air Astana, Kam Air, Turkish Airlines, Air Cargo Germany, Austrian Airlines, 22 weekly flights of scheduled operations, while Hong Kong Airlines will be handled by Celebi as from the 1st of November.
The latest addition to Celebi’s client base is another Star Alliance member after Turkish Airlines, and one of the leading high services oriented international airline, Austrian Airlines.
According to this agreement, Celebi India will provide Austrian Airlines with Passenger Services and Ramp Handling at Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Austrian Airlines will be operating 6 flights a week between Indira Gandhi International Airport – Delhi and Vienna International Airport, using Boeing 767 aircraft.
