Bangalore: A red tikka and Mysore Pak at the Mysore airport terminal welcomed passengers taking the inaugural Bangalore-Mysore flight on Friday—exactly seven days before the commencement of the 400th Dasara celebrations.
The flight takes 20 minutes of flying time and a total of 45 minutes, including the taxiing time for take-off and on landing. Vijay Mallya, chairman & managing director, Kingfisher Airlines, chief minister BS Yeddyurappa, former deputy chief minister Siddaramaiah, tourism minister Janardhana Reddy and other dignitaries flew on the inaugural flight from Bangalore and back.
