Jammu: A New Delhi-bound Air India flight IC-822, carrying 142 passengers, from Srinagar was today grounded at the Jammu airport following a technical problem, officials said.
The engineers detected 'wheel hydraulic leakage' in the flight immediately after it had started up at around 1700 hours, they said.
The flight, which had arrived here from Srinagar around 1640 hours, was on way to New Delhi, they said, adding, the flight was carrying 106 Hajj pilgrims among other passengers.
The AI authorities have arranged lodging and boarding facilities for the passengers of the grounded flight in Jammu.
