Chandigarh: Punjab minister Laxmi Kant Chawla today wrote a letter to Union Civil Aviation Minister Praful Patel highlighting the plight of air travellers.
The health minister requested Patel to improve the working of Air India to mitigate what she called woes of air travellers, especially those from Punjab.
Chawla said during the past two weeks Air India flights from Amritsar were being delayed, sometimes two to six hours, causing inconvenience to passengers.
She said a day before yesterday, she along with other travellers faced a similar situation at the Amritsar airport owing to which she and her department's officials could not attend an important meeting in Delhi.
