With 10 daily flights, Chandigarh firms place on air map

Chandigarh: With the Kingfisher airlines starting a new flight to Delhi from the Chandigarh airport from November 1, the city now has enhanced air connectivity with the metros. With this evening flight (departing at 7.20 pm and reaching Delhi at 8.20 pm) seeing the light of day, the flight has taken the load off from the evening Shatabdi which used to witness huge rush of executives who used to fly back to Delhi after attending meetings in the city.
According to airport officials, the Jet Airways Chandigarh-Amritsar-Delhi flight has also evoked a huge response. The Jet Airways flight now takes off from the Chandigarh airport at 9.10 am and arrives in Delhi at 11.50 am via Amritsar.
