Air India flight delayed as tyre deflates

Mumbai: Around 100 passengers of the Aurangabad-bound Air India flight IC 887 were stuck at the airport for hours after the aircraft’s tyre deflated as it was taxiing to the main runway. The aircraft, which was scheduled to depart at 3.55 pm, finally took off at 6.15 pm, according to the CSIA website. The incident happened around 4.19 pm.
