Senior executive quits Kingfisher Airlines

A top Kingfisher Airlines official has put in his papers after alleged "differences" on some operational issues, sources said. The resignation of Vice President (Operations) Capt N P Puri, the first in the management cadre after the airline appointed Sanjay Aggarwal as its CEO in October, comes close on the heels of about 50 Kingfisher pilots quitting the loss- making airline to join other carriers.
A Kingfisher spokesperson confirmed that Puri was on notice period. "Capt Puri will be moving out of the airlines by the month end," the spokesperson said.
