Chennai: A Public interest litigation has been filed seeking to quash the award of license of Ground Handling Services at Chennai and Kolkata airports in favour of a consortium of Bhadra International (India) Ltd. of New Delhi and Novia International Consulting APS also running its operations at the Copenhagan Airport.
In her petition, Oveyam Ranjan, President of Namadhu Dravida Iyakkam, alleged the tender “has been awarded to the consortium flouting all norms by playing fraud and misuse of power”. She sought an enquiry by Central Bureau of Investigation into the award of license by Airports of Authority of India.
