Ahmedabad airport abuzz with snazzy aircraft

Ahmedabad: The Sardar Patel international airport in the city has been playing host to business aircraft such as Global-5000, Cessna CJ2+, LJ60, Citation XLS, Falcon900EX, Falcon-2000, Challenger-300, super mid-sized jet C-680, Beech Craft-Hawker 850xP, Premier 1A among others for the last two days.
The aircraft, which came from Pune, Jamnagar, Surat, Baroda, Chennai, Mumbai and other destinations, were ferrying business honchos for the Vibrant Gujarat Summit.
Some of the biggies include Ratan Tata, Anil and Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani among others.
As many as 20 aircraft including couple of choppers descended on the city's airport beginning from Tuesday. The airport authorities recorded 40 arrivals and departures which is said to be a sort of record.
The aircraft and choppers belong to Bajaj Auto, Kingfisher Airlines, Taneja Aerospace & Aviation, Privilege Airways, Aerow west GMBH/ Cambata Aviation, Jindal Steel and Power, Bharat Forge, Forum Aviation, Span Air, Finolex Industries, Metrojet, Acass Canada, Airmid Aviation Services, Dubai based Empire Aviation, Reliance Transport and Travels among others.
