New Delhi: A total of 13 emergency landing incidents and five instances of rough landing involving various airlines took place last year, the Lok Sabha was informed today.
"During the year 2010, there was one incident each of emergency landing involving aircraft of Air India Express, Kingfisher and Jet Airways, two incidents of emergency landing involving aircraft of Spice Jet and four incidents each of emergency landing involving aircraft of Jet Lite and Go Air," Civil Aviation Minister Vayalar Ravi said in a written reply.
"During the same period, five incidents of rough landing involving aircraft of Spice Jet were reported," he said.
