AI flight cancelled due to technical snag

Nedumabassery: An Air India Flight from Thiruvananthapuram to Riyad via Kochi was cancelled due to technical snag at Kochi International Airport here today. According to airport sources, the passengers reportedly raised slogans against the airline for cancelling the flight.
The flight AI 929 reached here from Thiruvananthapuram at 1240 hrs and was about to leave for Riyad when the snag was noticed.
Though the passengers from Kochi were allowed to board the flight after 1530 hrs, the AI authorities were forced to cancel the fight as the airline authorities could not rectify the snag, airport sources said.
