Jet Airways increases flights to Odisha

Mumbai: Jet Airways has increased frequency of its domestic services to Orissa connecting Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai and Raipur to Bhubaneswar.
This is in addition to the existing twice-daily schedule from Bhubaneswar to Kolkata. The additional services are the result of the discussions held between GMR Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamsadabad, Hyderabad and Travel Agents Association of Orissa (TAAO) last November to offer additional benefits and world class facilities for passengers travelling from Odisha to various destinations via Hyderabad airport.
Jet Airways and GMR Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad, in collaboration with Andhra Pradesh Tourism, had invited IATA agents to have first hand knowledge about the services and facilities available at the GMR airport, Hyderabad.
The Association requested GMR airport to negotiate with domestic and international airlines operating from Hyderabad to offer special airfare for passengers travelling from Odisha to domestic and international destinations, said Benjamin Simon, President, Travel Agents Association of Odisha.
