Jadhav appeals to airline employees to ‘persuade’ pilots

New Delhi: Air India CMD Arvind Jadhav has appealed to the airline employees to ‘persuade’ pilots to come back and start flying amidst the belligerent posture taken by around 800-member Indian Commercial Pilots Association (ICPA) of erstwhile Indian Airlines.
“The ICPA struck work illegally for pay increase and parity, thus threatening our survival. This when a Supreme Court judge is studying this issue. In order to save our airline, I appeal to you to cooperate and to persuade pilot friends to return to work and discussions,” Jadhav wrote to his over 25,000 employees in a text message.
