Patna: Bad news for city flyers. Air India, at the city's Jaya Prakash Narayan International airport will not accept any bookings till May 6. According to sources, AI has extended the no-booking period as deadlock persists between AI management and the striking pilots.
On April 30, AI had directed its officials here not to make bookings till May 3. "The date of 'no bookings' has been extended as the stand-off between AI management and its pilots shows no sign of resolution," sources said.
All of its three regular Delhi-Patna-Delhi flights have been cancelled till further announcement. AI, however, will continue to operate a special flight to carry flyers who are already booked on its flights.
