Fliers drunk from Goa grounded in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad: A major ruckus was triggered by seven drunk passengers aboard SpiceJet Goa-Ahmedabad flight (SG 138) on Saturday.
Airport officials said the drunk passengers "who were speaking Gujarati" got into an argument with an airhostess over in-flight services soon after takeoff from Goa. They then began fighting with cabin crew members who tried to intervene.
Sources said the seven persons were a group of friends from Kadi in north Gujarat and had gone to Goa on a trip. The flight captain alerted Ahmedabad airport air traffic control officials about the incident.
