Bhubaneshwar: Air India will start a six-days-a-week flight from Delhi to Port Blair with stopover at Bhubaneswar from Sunday. This will restore the Bhubaneswar-Port Blair AI air connectivity discontinued some time ago, apart from giving the temple city another flight to the national capital.
Reservation manager of AI C R Panda said attractive fares, including promotional ones, are being offered on the new flight, to excite LTC travel. Air India started the service keeping in mind the huge tourism potential and social importance of Port Blair.
AI's flight AI 9603/9604 will operate all days, except Saturday. AI 9603 will leave Delhi at 5.20 am and reach Bhubaneswar at 7.30 am. The flight will leave for Port Blair at 8 am and land there at 9.35 am. AI 9604 will take off from Port Blair at 10.05 am and reach the Biju Patnaik airport here at 11.40 am. It will leave for Delhi at 12.10 pm and reach at 2.20 pm.
