Patna-Jamshedpur air service soon

Patna: The hopes of jet-setting denizens of Bihar and Jharkhand would take wings soon.
A private air service provider agency, Spirit Air Pvt Ltd, is scheduled to start first-of-its-kind regular non-scheduled air service from Patna to Jamshedpur. The commercial service would start in the first week of November.
Leslie Marcar, marketing country head of the agency, told TOI over phone from Bengaluru: "Almost everything is finalized. We are in tandem with almost all mandatory requirements under the director general civil aviation (DGCA) rules to operate air service."
Marcar added that the application for registration of aircraft is currently being considered by DGCA. Spirit Air is a non-scheduled airline which has its operational bases in Kolkata, Bengaluru and Lucknow.
