Ranchi airport flight schedule reshuffled

Ranchi: Ten flights have been operating from Birsa Munda Airport for different destinations daily while a couple of proposals from Indigo and Deccan Airlines are still pending, awaiting the nod of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Both Kingfisher and GoAir have started their Ranchi-to-Delhi flight services from last month. GoAir has decided to change the timings of its flight to Delhi in the evening. The 6.10 pm flight will be rescheduled for 7 pm and the 6.40 pm flight for 7.30 pm from November 1.
The Ranchi-to-Kolkata Kingfisher flight has been started on a daily basis. Despite three existing leading companies — Air India, Jet and Kingfisher — connecting Ranchi, passengers fear cancellation or delay.
