Fog delays 18 flights

Bangalore: Eighteen flights including two international and sixteen domestic flights got delayed because of dense fog in and around Bangalore International Airport on Monday morning.
In the domestic sector, flights to Chennai, Kolkata and Delhi among other cities were delayed. While Kingfisher rescheduled five flights, Air India delayed three flights, Indigo postponed five flights and Spice Jet delayed four flights. International flights operated by British Airways and Oman Airways were also delayed.
All 18 flights were scheduled to fly out from Bangalore between 5am and 9am. Some flights were delayed up to 195 minutes. However, no flights were cancelled.
