CIAL to open aircraft maintenance unit

Tthiruvananthapuram: The state-of-the-art aircraft maintenance unit of the Cochin International Airport Ltd (CIAL) will be commissioned on February 11 next year.
A decision to this effect was taken at the board meeting of the CIAL which was presided over by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy here yesterday.
The workshop, being set up at a cost of Rs 42cr at the airport campus, would have facilities for carrying out repair of narrow and wide body aircraft.
