Hyderabad: The Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) has, for the first time, installed a ‘photo kiosk' for passengers to take pictures free of cost at the airport.
Set-up at the Domestic departures, post security hold area, the kiosk offers options of airport backgrounds for passengers to choose from. This is, apparently, the first time a photo kiosk, has been introduced in any Indian airport.
In the kiosk, which has a touch screen with self-explanatory option buttons, passengers have to enter their names, email IDs and then pose in front of the camera stationed in the kiosk. They can choose from a variety of pre-designed backgrounds that carry pictures of the RGIA terminal building, landscape and the ATC tower among others. And the photo can instantly be mailed to their email IDs.
