Bahrain Air starts flights to Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: As part of its expansion programme in South India, Bahrain Air has commenced service to Thiruvananthapuram. The Airlines has introduced four flights a week and plans to increase to seven flights a week by the summer, Bahrain Air CEO Richard Nuttall told reporters here today. The first flight that came here last night was full and response from commuters was very good, he said. With the commencement of seven fights a week to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala would constitute 80 per cent of Bahrain Air India's capacity with 17 flights a week across Kochi, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram.
