Mumbai: Passengers departing from Mumbai airport will have to pay a user development charge to the airport developer from May 1.
The Airport Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) on Friday ruled that Mumbai International Airport Pvt Ltd (MIAL) could collect a charge from passengers. A development fee was being collected by airports earlier until the Supreme Court stayed it last year. The court urged AERA to revise the charge.
