Chandigarh Once shareholders agreement is signed, the joint venture company will be able to open bank account and operate
Even as Punjab and Haryana continue to slug it out over the construction of a direct approach road to the upcoming international airport in Mohali from the Haryana side, the three stakeholders in the project — the Airports Authority of India, and both the state governments — will soon be signing a share holders agreement (SHA).
Sources said at the February meeting of the board of directors of Chandigarh International Airport, whose minutes were passed in the last meeting on March 28, chairman of Joint Venture Company (Chandigarh International Airport Limited) S Raheja said HUDA had written to AAI suggesting certain amendments to the draft of SHA which was sent to GMADA and HUDA in January this year. He said the board had suggested some amendments which had been considered for incorporation in SHA, except two points which could not be incorporated.
