Flight at dawn from Mysore airport soon

Mysore: If all goes well, commercial flights will take wing from the Mysore airport at Mandakalli this Dasara season.
The Jet Airways has given an in-principle approval to a proposal from the civil aviation ministry. “The only thing remaining is confirmation,” C?Manjunath, director?of the airport, told Deccan Herald.
He said the private airline was making a preliminary study to reschedule its flights. It may launch the services in October, coinciding with?Nada Habba?Dasara.
Manjunath said his office had forwarded a proposal to reschedule the arrival and departure of flights. If the departure is scheduled for 7 am, it will help bonafide passengers catch connecting flights in other prominent cities. If the flight makes a return journey in the evening and halts at night at the airport, it would be more helpful, he said.
