GoAir flight for Ranchi via Delhi

Patna: In a bid to cater to the growing number of flyers for Ranchi, GoAir is going to redirect one of its flights departing from the Jaiprakash Narayan International airport here to Ranchi via Delhi from July 3, 2012.
According to the air traffic statistics released in 2012, the Patna and Ranchi airports have witnessed a heavy rush of passengers this year. In 2011-2012, the Patna airport recorded 21.8% growth in the number of passengers while the Ranchi airport witnessed a growth of 35.2 %.
Manmohan Tiwari, station manager, GoAir, said, "The timing of the GoAir flight, number G8-342, would remain unchanged. The flight departs from Patna airport at 9.05am everyday and it would reach Ranchi via Delhi and finally arrive at Patna again," he said. However, the other two existing flights for Ranchi and Delhi would continue to operate.
