Mumbai: The Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA), managed by GVK Group, today said it has commissioned a new exit taxiway that will help save up to 10 seconds of occupancy time for aircraft on the congested runway.
The rapid exit taxiway (RET) N5, located on the northern side of the primary runway 09-27, will reduce the arrival ROT (runway occupancy time) by 9-10 seconds, a statement from the Mumbai airport said.
