New Delhi: India today asked Maldives to consider ways to resolve the problems faced by private Indian infrastructure player GMR which has been given the contract to develop the Male International Airport.
The issue was raised when a Maldivian delegation, led by Transport and Communication Minister Ahmed Shamheed met Civil Aviation Minister Ajit Singh here.
An official statement said the Indian side brought to notice the problems faced by the GMR Group in the process of expansion and modernisation of the Male airport.
