Injured Preity Zinta fumes on Twitter, blames media

Celebrity and paparazzi scuffles make for great gossip fodder and Bollywood is no exception to the case, with actor Preity Zinta being the last victim of a mob of photographers that awaited her return to Mumbai yesterday.
The ‘Ishkq in Paris’ actress took to Twitter earlier today after images of her, attempting to hide her face from the press were splashed in the news, with many criticising her actions, which they say go hand-in-hand of being a public figure.
Shooting a barrage of tweets, Zinta started with: “Sitting at home with a twisted ankle post the airport assault by photographers. First I shoot all night and get on the plane and then get pushed.”
Zinta continued: “Pushed and jumped on at the airport. It was raining so I slipped. [I] wasn’t hiding my face but was trying to recover from the shock of 40 camera flashes.
“I am a human being not some animal in the zoo. If my security would have pushed them then the news would report my staff assaulted the media.”
“[I am] telling u all this because all of you asked why I was hiding my face. Every story has two sides so here is my side of the story.”
