Backdoor entry: CIAL sacks five officers

The Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL) authorities on Friday terminated the services of five junior managers.Two others were demoted to the supervisor level.
According to sources, the action was taken against those who secured appointment by producing fake documents with regard to their qualification and age.
The airport authorities initiated action on the basis of a report submitted by a three member committee headed by Excise and Ports Minister K Babu, who is also a member of the CIAL board of directors.
