Air India fiasco: Cops record statements of two Air India staffers

The Valiathura police, probing into the complaint of Air India Express pilot Rupali Waghmare against the flight passengers, recorded the statements of two Air India staffers on Sunday.
Hafeez and Vidyanand, the managers in charge of the security division of Air India, appeared before the Valiathura police station and gave their statements.
They were the first officials to enter the flight upon receiving the emergency alert from the pilot.
Sanghumugham assistant commissioner K S Vimal, who is in charge of the investigation, said that the two officials gave statements that supported the allegations raised by Capt Rupali Waghmare in her complaint against the passengers.
