Mumbai: A Nigerian woman delivered a baby aboard an Ethiopian Airlines flight early Saturday, airport officials said.
Both mother and baby girl are doing well at the Holy Spirit Hospital in Andheri East, near the Mumbai International Airport, where they were admitted early Saturday.
The baby was born at around 4.10 am, when Ethiopian Airlines flight No. ET607 reported an on-board medical emergency to the Mumbai International Airport.
The passenger, Chinyere Okoli, 34, and her baby were rushed to the medical team waiting for them and taken to hospital, officials said.
