Actor Chandan Roy Sanyal has accused GoAir of severely damaging his bag and dumping his belongings all over the luggage belt, thereby causing him a great deal of "trauma and embarrassment".
Sanyal, who shot to fame with Vishal Bharadwaj's 2009 movie Kaminey, said the 'insensitive' airline officials offered him a compensation of Rs 200 for 'ripping apart' a backpack that he had purchased in Sri Lanka. Sanyal said he landed at the Mumbai domestic airport around 11 am Thursday on GoAir Flight G8 378, after spending a week shooting for a movie in Ahmedabad.
He said,"I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my shoes on the luggage belt. A few seconds later, my clothes followed. I realised my belongings were strewn all over the luggage belt, and the backpack was completely torn."
