Close shave for 206 passengers

Mumbai: An Emirates Airways Bangkok-Dubai flight made an emergency landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji international airport on Wednesday night after one of its engine caught fire.All 206 passengers are safe.
Full emergency was declared at the airport following the call.
All emergency services, including the fire-fighting machinery and ambulances, were pressed into service.
The area was cordoned off by the security personnel of Central Industrial Security Force and additional personnel from the local police force.
Airport authorities said the pilot of Emirates EK373 Bangkok-Dubai flight asked permission for an emergency landing at 11.22pm.
After the Air Traffic Control (ATC) granted permission, the flight landed safely at 11.36pm.
