Mumbai: Delhi International Airport's ( DIAL) IT system has received a certification against IT breaches and security. The certification reaffirms that an organisation is compliant with its software licence agreements.
The airport claims that it is the first airport in the world to secure the BSA (Business Software Alliance) Certification in Standards-based Software Asset Management (SAM) for organisations, a program known as CSS(O).
For a passenger this means that their travel will become more secure through genuine software ensuring timely and accurate display of flight information, smooth baggage checking process, secured wi-fi usage inside the terminal, prevention of malware and pirated software.
