Allahabad: In a letter written to the secretary, civil aviation, Government of India and chairman and managing director of Air India, Mumbai, a sitting Allahabad HC Judge, Justice Sudhir Agarwal, has drawn their attention towards the mismanagement prevailing in flights operated by the airlines.
In the letter, the judge has stated that he and his son boarded flight No. AI 725 from Shiva Ji International Airport, Mumbai, to Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport, Lucknow, on November 28, 2012 and their luggage was booked. The aircraft landed at Lucknow at around 1320 hours. The high court's protocol staff at Lucknow took the boarding pass having two luggage receipts for collecting the luggage. After about 45 minutes, the high court staff along with one airport official came and said that the luggage didn't come with the flight as it was not loaded at Mumbai. The luggage would now be brought by some other flight and would be available in the evening.
