Ludhiana: The lone flight from the city to Delhi was cancelled on Tuesday due to poor weather and "technical reasons".
Air India, the lone carrier from the city to Delhi, could operate only one flight this month, against the four scheduled.
Air India manager at Sahnewal airport, Amrik Singh said, "We had to cancel Tuesday's flight due to inclement weather and certain technical reasons. Passengers have been informed about the flight cancellation. However, the flight schedule for the rest of the days this week, Thursday and Saturday will remain the same till further orders from higher authorities."
Air India has been operating a 48-seater plane, three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from the city to Delhi.
