Kochi: Air India Express (AIE) has launched a series of programmes with the help of trainers from Brahma Kumaris Spiritual University for aiding its staff to control their rage. These programmes follow the recent verbal duels between the Gulf-bound passengers and its staff on board aircraft and at airports, which has severely affected the image of the budget airline.
In one such instance, a woman pilot of an AIE flight from Abu Dhabi had complained of a 'hijack-like situation' after the flight landed in Thiruvananthapuram instead of Kochi.
The training programmes, to be conducted at all AIE stations, aim at managing the passengers in a more friendly and responsive way, AIE deputy chief operating officer Capt Pushpinder Singh said.
